Modern engines require specialist protection, which can be achieved, among others, by using lower-viscosity oils. The above trend is visible in the Volkswagen Group’s policy, where only oils in the SAE 0W-30 and SAE 0W-20 viscosity classes are used for the first fill, from 2021. Due to the requirements of the automotive market, after comprehensive research and analysis, the leader of the Polish engine oil market, ORLEN OIL, has introduced the fully synthetic MAX EXPERT V 0W-30 oil to its offer, intended for passenger and light commercial vehicles. The product has a ACEA C3 quality class and official homologation for use in engines of the Volkswagen Group, Mercedes-Benz Group AG and BMW Group.
Excellent physicochemical parameters of the oil contribute to excellent efficiency, providing comprehensive protection in extreme operating conditions. It is characterized by excellent flow properties and viscosity, which protect critical engine parts. ORLEN OIL MAX EXPERT V 0W-30 contains the unique Advanced Protect Formula technology, which, thanks to its unique structure, multiplies the protective functions of the lubricant, which is confirmed by the CEC L-109-14 oxidation stability assessment test, giving a result 55% better than the requirements for the ACEA C3 quality class.
ORLEN OIL MAX EXPERT V 0W-30, with VW Standard 504 00/VW Standard 507 00 approvals, can be used in a car where 5W-30 viscosity oil was previously filled, with the same approval and ACEA C3 quality class. The VW Group approval is evidence of the oil’s successful completion of tests, including compatibility with biofuels and improved pumpability at low temperatures. The oil’s excellent flow properties at low temperatures support rapid circulation, thereby protecting the drive system from wear during cold engine starts, which will protect the engines of cars used in the urban cycle. An extremely important property of the oil for users is its energy efficiency, which allows for reducing fuel consumption to the necessary minimum (2.1% according to the M111FE test).
