ORLEN OIL to become Titular Sponsor of 81st Rally Poland

2025-03-07
ORLEN OIL has become a titular sponsor of the 81st Rally Poland. This year's edition, scheduled for the weekend of 13-15 June, will be the fourth round of the European Rally Championship (FIA ERC) and the third round of the Polish championship (RSMP). For the twentieth time, the rally will be based in the picturesque and hospitable Mikolajki, and the competition will take place on spectacular gravel special stages among the Masurian lakes.

This year's event will be another one organised with the support of the ORLEN Group. In 2006 and 2007, it was held as the Platinum Rally Poland and the next two – in 2008 and 2009 – as the ORLEN Platinum Rally Poland. Like the ORLEN 74th Rally Poland in the 2017 season, the latter rally was a World Rally Championship (WRC) round. From 2021 to 2024, the high-speed gravel battle was held under the name ORLEN Rally Poland, which was part of the FIA ERC in the 2021-2023 seasons, while the 80th-anniversary edition (2024) was celebrated together with WRC teams and crews as a round of this most prestigious series in the world.

In 2025, Rally Poland will be a part of the European Championship calendar for the 54th time. No other event has such a long history in the world's oldest rally series, the European Championship, held since 1953. The most important competition in Polish motorsport is also the second-oldest rally in the world. Only the Monte Carlo Rally, which traditionally opens the world championship seasons, has a longer history in its annals.

Crews competing in the ORLEN OIL 81st Rally Poland will tackle 14 special stages, with a total length of nearly 200 km. Among them, there will be a spectacular head-to-head battle on the Mikołajki Arena track.
